My name is Ryan McRobert, and I operate Best Weigh Guide Service in Ketchikan, Alaska.  Best Weigh Guide Service is an independent operation meaning that I am not booked through the cruise ships or booking agents.  This means that by booking your fishing trip in Ketchikan on your own, you get the best of the best.  You will pay less and get more.  Most cruise lines charge $50-$200 more per person for your fishing trip.  Our Ketchikan charter boat is one of the newest, fastest, and safest charter fishing boats in Ketchikan.  She is loaded with the latest marine electronics, and only top of the line fishing equipment.

On our vessel “OUTCAST“, you will find nothing but top of the line salmon and halibut fishing equipment from SHIMANO.  Rods and reels matched to our fishery.  Smooth drags, and actions on the rods that let you enjoy the fight.  The boat is always stocked with snacks, water, and soft drinks.  Outcast is one of the fastest Ketchikan charter fishing boats in town.  When we need to run further to the fish, you will enjoy up to an hour of extra fishing time compared to other boats.  Many of the boats booked through the cruise ships will not run to the fish.  They fish a specific area even if it means low productivity.
