Winter king salmon fishing charters

by ryno on April 9, 2015

We had another great day of salmon fishing on Easter Sunday.  We have not tried to fish halibut yet, but it is coming!  As for now, the kings are in, and they are nice! Lots of the king salmon are 15-25lbs, and they are great eaters!  These feeder kings are cruising the bays, looking for bait, and sometimes they run into our trap!  Salmon fishing in the winter in most areas can be tough, but right now, Ketchikan is hot.  It is a positive outlook for the spring and summer season, as we gear up for them.  Many of our all day, fishing lodge guests have booked their trips, and a good share of cruise ship fishing guests are hitting our schedules.  If you would like to book a halibut fishing trip, Ketchikan salmon fishing charter, or are looking to do some multi day fishing charters with lodging, please contact us!
